Our August 9 Morning meeting had Chief Deputy Coroner, Kevin Worley speaking about our EMS.
Coroner Laura Kneece spoke as did Sen. Ronnie Cromer.
The Morning meeting remains strong even though it is summer in the South. We had 13 people.

August 19, we had our Evening GOP meeting. Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman spoke.
Many questions were asked and answered.
Sen Ronnie Cromer, Rep Rick Martin and County Councilman Les Hipp were recognized.
Chad Connelly gave a slide report of the progress the SCGOP has made in the past year.
There were 49 people. Our numbers are staying strong.

August 20, we held our Luncheon with US Senator Lindsey Graham at the Newberry Shrine Club. There were 56 people.

With the Sponsor’s help we were able to have the event paid for and all the tickets were profit. We cleared $2000 from ticket sales.
Thanks goes to Janice Likes for her organizing the event. What a great success.
August 23, Cong. Jeff Duncan had his Faith & Freedom BBQ in Anderson. Although; Cong. Duncan only has a small part of Newberry County we were well represented by 14 people.
The speakers were Cong. Duncan, Gov Henry McMaster, Lt Gov Pamela Evette, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, SC Attorney General Alan Wilson. The had great food and unbelievable singers.
The Guest Speaker was Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota.
September 2, Cong. Ralph Norman will hold a Town Hall meeting at the Newberry Electric Co-Op at noon. There is no cost and we want a large turnout.
